Dear All,
India Fest organised by Indian Consulate Frankfurt on 1st September was a very big success with thousands of Indians coming together to promote India in the heart of the city of Frankfurt @Rosmarkt.Several Indian Organizations mainly state Vereins put up food stalls from their state and offered delicious food which not only Indians but also German community enjoyed it.
Gujarati Samaj Germany had put up stall and as you can see Jalebi became the Food STAR of the day.. People waited in ques for 30 min. for this delicacy. Congratulations to those who put their great efforts and promoted Gujarati Food.
Special attraction was live concert by Kavita Krishnamurthy and Subramaniam for 1 hr which was bringing Bollywood to Frankfurt and also the spell binding Violin jugalbandi with Tabla entertained the crowd.. Felt like we were in India today..
The other Star performance was from our little dancing superstar Aashi & Stuthi who rocked the stage representing our Gujarati Samaj Germany e. V.
